Q) What is the COST of the events and where does the money go?
A) $10/event in 2008 and $15/event in 2009. 30% of all revenues go to a monthly local charity partner.

A) There are many benefits that 6 Degrees assists with as part of membership in the development of an additional advertising/ business development component of your business. The most unique perk is the ability for all members to have a custom video commercial advertisement of themselves showcasing their business and themselves to everyone online. This is a professional commercial (1-2 minutes) that will be placed on your member page that is perfect for anyone who would like to bring to life what they do or what their business is. You will also be showcased online for people you meet at events to go back and watch the commercial to get a better feel as to how you can work together. Q) When do I shoot my VIDEO and what is the PROCESS?
A) Upon membership signup you will be contacted within 24 hours by our videographer to set up multiple video times at locations that work for you; i.e. your office, client location, event you're attending/throwing, etc for multiple shoots. Videographer will assist with direction, ideas, speaking points, visual, etc to ensure the shoot is up to 6 Degrees and your standards.
Q) Can I SECURE a copy of my video commercial?
A) Yes, you will also receive a CD-ROM version of the video for personal use outside of the website to embed on your own personal website and/or your email signature attachment, etc.
Q) Do I need to be a member to ATTEND the monthly events?
A) No, everyone is welcome
Q) What about FOOD and drinks at the events?
A) There will be complimentary appetizers for everyone as well as drink specials at a cash bar.

A) Business Attire
Q) What should I EXPECT at the events?
A) Expect to meet many business executives of all ages and in every industry in a casual social environment. Many 6 Degrees attendees have been going to our monthly events for over a year and have built great business relationships and are always welcoming new people with open arms.
Q) How do you choose where to HOST your events?
A) Any restaurant/bar/lounge venue that is relatively new, or with a decent amount of space, and would like 200-250 local executives are great places to host our attendees. If you know of a great place then please feel free to email us with information.

A) While we do have many events downtown, we try to move around the city

A) Yes, in 2009 we plan on being in 3 new cities so stay tuned.
